In alignment with Section 19 of POPIA, Infotech Solutions implements appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or unlawful processing.

These safeguards may include identity lifecycle governance, access controls, encryption, endpoint monitoring, secure cloud architecture, governance controls, and administrative security procedures.

Cross-Border Data Transfers (Section 72)

To deliver cloud, analytics, security, artificial intelligence, governance, and digital transformation services, Infotech Solutions may utilise secure global cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and related platforms.

In accordance with Section 72 of POPIA, we ensure that any third-party cloud operator or service provider maintains an equivalent or higher level of personal information protection than that required under South African law, or that another lawful basis for transfer exists under POPIA.

Your Rights

As a Data Subject, you have the right to:

• Access personal information held by us
• Object to the processing of personal information by submitting the prescribed Form 1
• Request the correction, destruction, or deletion of personal information by submitting the prescribed Form 2
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Request deletion where legally permissible
• Lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator

Retention of Information

Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, satisfy contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, and support governance, audit, and regulatory obligations.
